Is artificer hard to play?
With the right infusions and spells, they can fill nearly any role in the party, making the Artificer’s versatility rival that of the Bard. However, the Artificer is complicated. This is not a class I would recommend for new players or for players who suffer from analysis paralysis.
How does artificer work in DND?
Artificers are a spellcasting class, similar to a paladin or ranger. They gain access to new spell levels at half the rate that “full casters” like clerics, druids, and wizards do, but they make up for it by having a host of powerful class features to supplement their spellcasting.
